Extraction

Upload the file and let the app pull the table out for you.

Upload PDFs, images, scans, CSV, or Excel files. Extraction shows whether each file is processing, ready, or failed. When the result is ready, open it in Review Studio and edit the table in the app.

Why Extraction helps

When you do not want to type the table into Excel by hand.

Bills, forms, reports, and scans often have to be copied into Excel line by line. Extraction pulls the table out for you first, then sends you to Review Studio when it is ready to check and edit.

Upload one file or many files at the same time.

Let the app extract the table from the file for you.

See which files are still being extracted, ready, or failed.

Retry failed extraction without uploading everything again.

Open the ready result in Review Studio when you want to check and edit it.

Inside Extraction

What you can do.

Upload files

Add new files whenever you want and start extraction right away.

Check status

See whether extraction is still running, ready, or failed.

Retry failed extraction

If extraction fails for a file, try it again without uploading it again.

Select and clean up

Select one or many files and remove files you do not need.

Open for review

Open a ready result directly in Review Studio when it is time to check and edit the data.

Download the source file

Download the original file again whenever you need to check the source.

Where it fits

Extraction is where the process starts.

Start with extraction, then move to Review Studio.

First upload the file and let the app extract the table. Then check and edit the result in Review Studio, fix mistakes, and move the cleaned data to Datasets or Exports.

Workflow

Extraction -> Review Studio -> Datasets or Exports

Why this matters

Let the app extract the table first.

Manual typing is slow. Extraction gives you the table, shows the status, and makes it easy to move the ready result into Review Studio.
